Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of Forq, the app that turns a photo of a paper menu into a clean, app-style digital menu with dish photos and calorie estimates. By downloading or using Forq, you agree to these Terms.

Forq is an independent app developed by Aleksei Artemev (“we”, “us”, “Forq”). Contact: forq@appto.you.

Using Forq

Forq lets you photograph a paper menu and view it digitally. You may use the app only for lawful purposes and only with menus you are permitted to photograph. You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to disrupt our services, reverse-engineer the app, or use it to infringe anyone's rights.

AI-generated content & accuracy

Dish images are illustrative and may not match the actual dish served. Calorie and nutrition values are estimates, not medical or dietary advice. Always rely on the restaurant's own information for prices, ingredients, allergens, and nutrition — especially if you have allergies or dietary restrictions. Forq is not responsible for decisions made based on app content.

Subscriptions (Forq Plus)

Forq offers an auto-renewable subscription, Forq Plus, that unlocks premium features. Subscriptions are sold through your Apple App Store account.

• Plans: Forq Plus is offered on weekly, monthly, and yearly billing periods. Some plans may include a free trial.
• Price & period: the exact price, billing period, and any trial are shown on the in-app purchase screen before you confirm, in your local currency.
• Auto-renewal: your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends.
• Billing: payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, and within 24 hours before the end of the current period for renewals.
• Free trial: if offered, any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Manage or cancel: you can manage or cancel anytime in Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Restore: you can restore an active subscription on a new device using the in-app “Restore” option.

Because purchases are handled by Apple, refunds are subject to Apple's policies. Requests are made through Apple, not through us.

Apple Standard EULA

Unless we provide a separate custom license, your use of Forq is also governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). Where these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA conflict, the Apple Standard EULA applies to your license to use the app.

Intellectual property

Forq, its design, and its content (excluding menu data you capture) are owned by us and protected by applicable laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose.

Disclaimer of warranties

Forq is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Forq, including reliance on AI-generated menus, dish photos, or calorie estimates.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll revise the “Last updated” date above, and your continued use of Forq means you accept the updated Terms.
